What is Peker REIT (PEKGY)?
Peker Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı A.S. is a real estate investment trust (GYO) headquartered in Sariyer, Istanbul. The company was established in 2017 through a partial demerger of Peker Holding, which was founded in 1980; its shares have traded on Borsa Istanbul under the ticker PEKGY since 2018.
The company builds a portfolio by developing residential and commercial real estate projects and manages that portfolio. Projects highlighted on its corporate website include Tera Tower in Maslak and a project in Atakoy; the company states that it carries out projects abroad as well as in Turkey. The affiliate list on KAP (Public Disclosure Platform) shows a construction and project consulting company in Maslak and subsidiaries developing real estate abroad.
