About the watchlist and price alerts
How to build a list
To add an instrument to your watchlist, tap the star icon on its row or on its product page. You can create more than one list, rename your lists and import one of the ready-made lists as a starting point. The list shows each instrument’s latest price, daily change and observation time; you can switch between table and card views and sort the list by change or by name.
Where is the data stored?
Your lists and alerts are not sent to a server; they are kept in this browser’s local storage, and no account is needed. If you clear your browser data, the lists are deleted too, and lists created in a private browsing window may be lost when the window closes. To move a list to another device, use the link or QR code in the transfer window; the list is then saved in the browser of the device where it is opened.
How do price alerts work?
When you set an alert price for an instrument, a notification appears once the price observed on the site reaches that level. Alerts work only on this device and while the site is open; nothing is sent while the browser is closed. Because the check relies on the site’s observations, when an alert fires depends on how often the instrument’s data is updated. Triggered alerts are marked in the list and can be cleared in one go.
Which units are prices shown in?
Every instrument in the list is shown in the currency it trades in; exchange rates stay in their own quote currency and indices in points. Select an instrument’s name to see its price history and source details. You can pick instruments to follow from the Borsa Istanbul, currencies and crypto pages.
