Atakule REIT

Atakule Gayrimenkul Yatirim Ortakligi A.S. is a real estate investment trust (REIT) operating under Turkey's capital markets legislation on REITs, headquartered in Cankaya, Ankara. According to its company profile, it was founded in August 2000; its shares were offered to the public in 2002 and began trading on the exchange the same year. Today its shares trade on Borsa Istanbul under the ticker AGYO. The similarly named Ata GYO is a separate company that trades under the ticker ATAGY.

REITs build their portfolios from properties, real estate projects and rights based on them. Atakule REIT describes its own activities under the headings of land development, project design, and sales and marketing. The project list on its website includes the Atakule Shopping Centre and Tower in Ankara, along with assets such as a business centre, an office building and land plots; the list also contains assets in provinces outside Ankara.
