Koza Polyester

Koza Polyester Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. is a synthetic fiber producer founded in Gaziantep in 2011 as part of the Akinal Group. The facility, located in the organized industrial zone in Baspinar, started production in 2014. The company's shares have traded on Borsa Istanbul under the ticker KOPOL since 2023.

Koza's main product is polyethylene terephthalate staple fiber made on lines integrated with its polymerization plant; this fiber is used in nonwoven and textile applications. The company also produces polyester chips, serving yarn, film, plastics and masterbatch producers. Its plasticizer unit supplies raw materials to the PVC, cable, rubber and artificial leather sectors. A solar energy system on the factory roof covers part of its energy needs.
