Alkim Alkali Kimya A.S. is an Istanbul-headquartered company that produces industrial minerals and chemicals from natural resources. According to its corporate history, a journey that began with a small workshop in Istanbul turned into today's company in 1963 through a partnership with the American firm Essex Interore, formed to develop sodium sulfate operations in Turkey. Its shares trade on Borsa Istanbul under the ticker ALKIM.

The main product is sodium sulfate, a raw material used in the production of detergents, glass, textiles and paper. The company also produces potassium sulfate, salt and magnesium chloride solution. Production takes place at the Koralkim facilities in Dazkiri, Afyonkarahisar, the Bolluk facilities in Cihanbeyli, Konya, and the Cayirhan facilities in Nallihan, Ankara. Paper production in Kemalpasa, Izmir, is carried out separately by Alkim Kagit, a group company that is also listed on the exchange.
