What is EYG REIT (EYGYO)?
EYG Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı is a real estate investment trust (REIT) headquartered in Umraniye, Istanbul. The company carries forward the real estate development experience of EYG Group, founded in 2014, under a REIT structure, and its shares trade on Borsa Istanbul under the ticker EYGYO.
The group's completed projects focus on Istanbul's housing market. Evvel Istanbul and Adim Istanbul, developed in Kayabasi, Basaksehir under an income-sharing model with Emlak Konut REIT, were completed in 2017 and 2019 respectively, while Narli Bahce Evleri in Umraniye was delivered in 2023. Alongside homes, these projects also include commercial units and social facilities. Ongoing projects include Sakli Ada in Sancaktepe, located close to the metro, and the company's website also has a separate section for planned projects. Real estate appraisal reports and use-of-funds reports for the projects are published on the investor relations page.
For housing-focused REITs, sales pace and pre-sale collections, mortgage interest rates, construction costs, land acquisition terms and project delivery schedules are the key factors. The gap between net asset value (NAV) and the share price is another indicator that investors follow closely. Lzzo.com provides RSI and moving average data for EYGYO.
