Çelik Halat ve Tel Sanayii A.S. is an industrial manufacturer of steel wire rope and wire products. Its head office and production facilities are in Kartepe, Kocaeli, and its shares trade on Borsa Istanbul under the ticker CELHA; CELHA stock is part of the basic metals industry group.
The product family is broad: alongside general-purpose ropes, the company makes ropes designed for cranes, lifts, mining, marine, fishing, forestry and drilling applications, as well as rotation-resistant and plastic-filled types. On the steel wire side, it offers industrial spring wire, galvanised wire and patented wire; prestressed concrete strand and ACSR conductors used in power transmission lines are also in the portfolio. The company has an R&D centre and testing laboratories, and its products are sold at home and abroad to sectors such as ports, construction, energy, cable cars, white goods and automotive.
