Sonmez Cotton Spinning

Sönmez Pamuklu Sanayii A.S. is a yarn producer operating in Bursa and part of the Sonmez Holding group. Its shares trade on Borsa Istanbul under the ticker SNPAM.

The company was founded in February 1981 within Sonmez Endustri Holding and increased its production capacity and product variety through investments made in 2018. Its spinning mill has vortex, compact and ring spinning machines as well as twisting machines; Siro, slub and core-spun systems are also used to produce yarns with different structures. Production covers staple-fiber yarns in fine and coarse counts. Fibers such as viscose, Tencel, modal, micromodal, acrylic, wool, silk, linen, elastane, bamboo and polyester are used as raw materials. The scope of activity in its articles of association is the production of all kinds of textile yarn, primarily cotton yarn.
