Mazhar Zorlu Holding

Mazhar Zorlu Holding A.S. is an industrial holding based in the Ataturk Organized Industrial Zone in the Cigli district of Izmir. Its shares trade on Borsa Istanbul under the ticker MZHLD; the holding takes its name from its founder.

The group's foundations were laid in the early 1950s with contracting services in Izmir and the Aegean region; it then moved into the production of plastic tubes and kitchenware. Ege Yildiz Plastik was founded in 1959 to produce plastic pipe fittings, and in 1973 Egeplast A.S., which took over production, began operating. At the Ataturk Organized Industrial Zone, Egeplast produces small- and large-diameter plastic pipes used in infrastructure applications such as clean water distribution, sewerage, telecommunications, natural gas and drainage, while Ege Yildiz handles domestic sales and marketing through dealer and project channels.
