What is Ulusal Factoring (ULUFA)?
Ulusal Faktoring A.S. is a factoring company based in Maslak, in the Sariyer district of Istanbul. Having started operating in 1999, the company has had its shares traded on Borsa Istanbul under the ticker ULUFA since its IPO in November 2021.
Factoring is based on businesses transferring receivables with future due dates, arising from sales of goods or services, to a financial institution and receiving early payment in return. Within this framework, Ulusal Faktoring takes over invoiced receivables arising from domestic and international commercial transactions, handles their collection and provides financing against these receivables. The company opened its first branch in Kozyatagi, Istanbul, in 2005 and over time built a branch network spanning several provinces. A partnership with PineBridge Investments began in 2011, and in 2015 a loan agreement was signed with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
For factoring companies, interest rates, funding costs, the volume of SMEs' commercial activity and the course of non-performing receivables are closely followed. On the ULUFA page, Lzzo.com users can see the latest price, key daily statistics, a chart drawn for different time frames, technical indicators and similar financial stocks.
