Masco Corporation is a US home and building products company headquartered in Livonia, Michigan, and founded in 1929. Its shares trade on the NYSE under the ticker MAS and are included in S&P's broad-based US stock index. The company's products are used in the renovation and construction of homes, so sales are closely tied to the housing market and repair spending.
Masco works in two main segments. The Plumbing Products segment includes faucets, shower and bath products under the Delta and Brizo brands, along with the Europe-based fittings of Hansgrohe. The Decorative Architectural Products segment covers Behr paints, primer and coating products such as Kilz, and Liberty decorative hardware. In the United States, Behr paints are sold largely through the stores of a home improvement retailer. The products are used in both renovation and new home construction channels.
