Katmerciler Arac Ustu Ekipman Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. is a company producing vehicle-mounted equipment and armoured vehicles for the defence industry, headquartered in the Ataturk Organized Industrial Zone in Cigli, Izmir. KATMR shares trade on Borsa Istanbul.

Its activities fall under two main headings. On the vehicle-mounted equipment side, it produces transport bodies built on truck chassis, firefighting vehicles, environmental vehicles for municipalities and special products. On the defence side, it develops tactical wheeled armoured vehicles, security vehicles, logistics support vehicles and armoured construction machinery. The company offers these products to public institutions, municipalities and private sector customers, and also works with an export network abroad. After-sales services include servicing, spare parts and user manuals, and the company also publishes its carbon inventory and sustainability reports.

For special vehicle manufacturers, the main issues investors watch are defence and security tenders, municipal budgets, the handover schedule of export contracts, chassis and steel costs, the exchange rate and working capital needs. Because handovers are project-based, results can fluctuate noticeably between quarters.
