Bak Packaging

Bak Ambalaj Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. is an industrial company that has produced flexible packaging in Izmir since 1973. Production takes place at more than one facility in the Ataturk Organized Industrial Zone in Cigli. The company is part of the Bakioglu group, and BAKAB shares trade on Borsa Istanbul.

Bak Ambalaj produces printed, unprinted and laminated flexible packaging materials for various sectors. The products are used to package consumer goods, food in particular; prepress, the machinery fleet and quality control processes are all handled in-house. The bulk of the output is exported, chiefly to Western Europe, and when needed, shipments are made from storage facilities in Europe and the US. The company's R&D centre works on recyclable mono-material packaging solutions, and sustainability reports are published regularly.
