Honeywell International Inc. is a US automation technology company. The company separated its aerospace unit as a standalone public company called Honeywell Aerospace in June 2026; it had already spun off its advanced materials business as Solstice Advanced Materials in 2025. The remaining structure operates as a pure-play automation company under the name Honeywell Technologies, and its shares continue to trade on Nasdaq under the ticker HON.

Today's portfolio is grouped into three areas: building, process and industrial automation. In building automation, fire detection, access control and building management systems stand out; in process automation, control systems and software for refineries, chemical plants and energy facilities; and in industrial automation, sensors and solutions for site productivity. Besides hardware, software subscriptions and maintenance and service contracts are also among its income sources.
