Tesla xStock

Tesla xStock is a tokenized product that represents on a blockchain the shares of Tesla, Inc., the electric vehicle and energy storage company, which trade on Nasdaq under the ticker TSLA. The token is issued under the xStocks umbrella by Backed Assets (JE) Limited; according to the issuer, each token is backed by underlying shares held in custody and gives its holder a contractual right related to the value of the share. This structure is not the same as direct share ownership; the token holder carries a claim against the issuer.

TSLAx can be used on networks such as Solana, Ethereum, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Mantle and TON. Issuance and redemption against the underlying shares take place on weekdays in line with the US exchange calendar, but the token can be bought and sold on-chain and on supporting platforms even while the exchange is closed. As a result, the token price formed at weekends or overnight can diverge noticeably from the last close on Nasdaq. Corporate actions such as stock splits are handled through an on-chain multiplier that adjusts balances automatically.
