About BASF Agricultural Solutions
BASF Agricultural Solutions is the agricultural business of BASF, combining crop protection with seeds, traits, biological and digital solutions; it reported sales of EUR 9.6 billion in 2025.
IPO notes
On 14 September 2026 BASF said it had mandated Citi, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan as global coordinators for the planned IPO of Agricultural Solutions, with IPO readiness targeted by mid-2027 and a plan to list the business as a Societas Europaea on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (basf.com). About 80 percent of the business has moved into separate legal entities, and BASF will give an overview of the business at its Capital Markets Day on 24 November 2026. BASF stated that no decision has yet been made on the execution or timing of an IPO; no filing, price or date exists.
