What is Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ)?
Invesco QQQ is an exchange-traded fund offered by the US asset manager Invesco that aims to track the Nasdaq 100 index. The fund trades on Nasdaq under the ticker QQQ. Structured for many years as a unit investment trust, the fund was converted into an open-end fund in December 2025.
The Nasdaq 100 is made up of large non-financial companies listed on the Nasdaq exchange. As a result, technology, communication services and consumer discretionary companies carry notable weight in the fund's portfolio, while banks and insurers fall outside the index. Because index weights are determined by company size, a few large technology companies have a strong influence on the fund's performance.
QQQ's market price can deviate to a limited extent from the fund's net asset value (NAV) during the day. The QQQ page on Lzzo.com features the price in US dollars, a historical chart and technical indicators; for the expense ratio and the current portfolio, Invesco's product page should be treated as the reference.
