What is USDsui?
USDsui (Sui Dollar) is a native stablecoin pegged to the US dollar and issued for the Sui blockchain. According to Sui's official blog announcements, the stablecoin is issued by Bridge, which is affiliated with the payments company Stripe, and was created with Bridge's stablecoin issuance platform, Open Issuance. The project was announced in November 2025 and then made available on the Sui mainnet in 2026.
According to the announcement, USDsui is designed to be compatible with the GENIUS Act payment stablecoin framework in the United States and is positioned as a compliance-ready digital dollar for cross-border payments, remittances and peer-to-peer transfers. The stablecoin can be used in wallet, lending and decentralized exchange applications on Sui and can interoperate with other Bridge-issued stablecoins in the Open Issuance ecosystem. In CoinGecko's listing, the token appears only on the Sui network.
For fiat-backed stablecoins, the dollar peg depends on the quality of the reserves, the issuer's redemption processes and the regulatory framework. The USDsui entry in the catalogue and the Sui Dollar entry on DefiLlama refer to the same asset. The value shown for USDsui on Lzzo.com is DefiLlama's US dollar reference and is for information only.
