What is Pharos (PROS)?
Pharos is a layer-one blockchain compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine that targets high throughput and sub-second block times. The project describes itself as infrastructure built for moving and settling value on-chain, aiming to serve autonomous AI agents as well as institutions and applications. Its mainnet, named Pacific Ocean, launched in April 2026.
The network's focus areas include the tokenization of real-world assets (RealFi), payment infrastructure, and sponsored transactions and intent-based experiences that let agents transact with less human intervention. Pharos has announced a collaboration in the real-world asset field with Ant Digital Technologies, part of Ant Group.
