Otokar Otomotiv ve Savunma Sanayi A.S. is one of the Koc Group companies and is headquartered in Cekmekoy, Istanbul. The company's main shareholders are Koc Holding and Unver Holding; its shares trade on Borsa Istanbul under the ticker OTKAR.

Otokar operates in two main areas. On the commercial vehicle side, it produces city and intercity buses, midibuses and trucks; on the defense side, it designs land systems such as wheeled and tracked armored vehicles, tactical vehicles and tanks. It develops a significant share of its products in its own R&D units and also sells abroad through its companies in Europe.
