What is Devon Energy Corporation (DVN)?
Devon Energy Corporation is an oil and natural gas exploration and production company headquartered in Houston, Texas, with a significant presence in Oklahoma City as well. Its roots go back to activities that began in Oklahoma in 1971. Its shares trade on the NYSE under the ticker DVN and the company is a component of the S&P 500.
Devon produces crude oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids. Operations are carried out onshore in production basins across the United States, with the Delaware Basin in Texas and New Mexico among the main areas. In May 2026 it merged with Coterra Energy in an all-stock deal, and the combined company kept the Devon Energy name and the DVN ticker on the NYSE. The products are sent to pipelines and processing plants to be treated and sold.
The results of such producers are followed together with oil and natural gas prices, drilling activity and production costs. Lzzo.com brings the US dollars price of DVN, a historical chart and technical indicators together on a single page.
