State Street Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF

XLF, focused on the financial sector, is an exchange-traded fund managed by State Street that has been named State Street Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF since December 2025. Its shares are bought and sold on NYSE Arca under the ticker XLF.

The fund's goal is to correspond generally, before expenses are deducted, to the price and yield performance of the Financial Select Sector Index. The index universe is the financial companies in S&P's large-company US index. This universe covers commercial banks, insurers, capital markets institutions such as investment banks and exchange operators, consumer finance firms, mortgage-focused real estate investment trusts, and financial services companies such as card networks and payment processors.
