Schwab U.S. Dividend Equity ETF

The Schwab U.S. Dividend Equity ETF is an equity exchange-traded fund offered by Schwab Asset Management. The fund's goal is to track as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the total return of the Dow Jones U.S. Dividend Index. The fund trades on US exchanges under the ticker SCHD.

The index consists of stocks selected, from among US companies that have paid dividends without interruption for a long time, on the basis of fundamental measures such as cash flow to debt, return on equity and dividend growth. Real estate investment trusts are excluded from selection, and caps apply to the weight that can be given to a single stock and a single sector.
