iShares MSCI Japan ETF

The iShares MSCI Japan ETF is a country fund in BlackRock's iShares range that invests in Japanese stocks. According to the issuer, the fund aims to track the MSCI Japan Index, made up of Japanese stocks, and trades on NYSE Arca under the ticker EWJ.

The MSCI Japan Index covers large and mid-sized companies listed on Japanese exchanges. The basket includes carmakers, electronics and industrial groups, large trading companies, banks and insurers, pharmaceutical companies, gaming and entertainment companies, and telecom operators. The fund targets a result close to the index's performance by holding the index constituents in its portfolio.
