Unity USD

Unity USD (UUSD) is a stablecoin designed to be pegged to the US dollar and, according to its official website, is developed by Anything Labs. The project positions UUSD less as a standalone token than as a stablecoin network: the aim is for other issuers to be able to launch their own stablecoins on UUSD, for liquidity providers to supply liquidity to the network and earn yield, and for applications to use UUSD for payments and settlement. The project's code repository also describes UUSD as a settlement layer for the AI economy.

According to its open-source code, the token uses an upgradeable proxy contract structure and is deployed at the same address on EVM-compatible networks; CoinGecko also lists the token at the same address on BNB Chain, Ethereum, Base and Robinhood Chain. In the contract, the owner role has the power of unlimited minting and burning, and the admin role has the power to freeze accounts and pause transfers. The GoPlus warning on CoinGecko also reports that the contract owner can change the code.

The composition of the reserves and the redemption terms are not explained in detail on the official pages reviewed; DefiLlama classifies the asset among crypto-collateralized stablecoins.
