Gram (prev. Toncoin)

Toncoin is the native token of the blockchain called The Open Network (TON). The foundations of TON rest on technology developed by Telegram; after Telegram withdrew from the project in 2020, the network was carried on by the open-source community and the TON Foundation. Following a community vote in June 2026, the token was renamed Gram and its trading symbol changed from TON to GRAM. The network's name remained The Open Network; the Gram name was explained as a return to the name used in the project's early technical documents.

The renaming is a change at the presentation layer only: balances, addresses, smart contracts and staking positions were kept unchanged, and holders were not asked to make any swap or migration. Official sources have therefore stressed that migration announcements asking for the token to be transferred to another address should not be trusted. GRAM is used for transaction fees, validator staking and governance processes. TON is known for its sharding architecture and for its wallet and mini app integrations inside Telegram.

The price shown on the Toncoin page of Lzzo.com is based on DefiLlama's US dollar reference. Because of the symbol change, some data sources may still show the asset under the name TON or Toncoin.
