What is SOON?
SOON is an infrastructure project that aims to run the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM), Solana's transaction execution environment, as rollups on other layer-one networks such as Ethereum. The project describes itself as a decoupled SVM stack: transactions are executed in the SVM, while other networks can be used for the consensus and data layers. DefiLlama tracks SOON as a chain connected to Ethereum.
The ecosystem consists of SOON Stack, used to build SVM rollups; SOON Mainnet, which runs on Ethereum; and InterSOON, which targets cross-chain messaging and asset transfers.
