Saturn Dollar

Saturn Dollar, or USDat for short, is a stablecoin designed by a protocol called Saturn to track the value of the US dollar. According to the project, USDat is minted and redeemed one-to-one against USDC, and its reserves consist of tokenized US Treasury bills held through a stablecoin infrastructure called M Zero; the token was issued under that platform's extension model. The project launched in 2026.

Saturn uses a two-tier structure. USDat is positioned as the base dollar unit for payments, settlement and DeFi liquidity, while users who stake USDat receive a yield token called sUSDat. On the sUSDat side, part of the reserves is directed to digital credit products such as STRC, the Nasdaq-listed preferred stock of the company Strategy; the yield is reflected through a rising conversion rate between sUSDat and USDat.
