What is GAL (migrated to Gravity - G) (GAL)?
GAL is the token issued in 2022 by Galxe (formerly Project Galaxy), a platform known for decentralized web credentials and quest campaigns. Galxe provides infrastructure that lets projects reward their user communities with on-chain quests and digital badges.
In 2024, Galxe restructured its ecosystem around a new blockchain infrastructure called Gravity and launched a migration process through which GAL holders could convert their tokens into the new G token at a set ratio. As the catalogue name indicates, GAL is now the legacy token; the current token of the Gravity ecosystem is G. GAL contracts exist on Ethereum and BNB Chain.
