Orca

Orca is a decentralized exchange (DEX) that has operated on the Solana blockchain since 2021. Users can swap tokens through Orca, while liquidity providers deposit their assets into pools and earn a share of trading fees. Its simple interface has helped the protocol gain recognition in the Solana ecosystem.

The protocol's core product is its concentrated liquidity pools, called Whirlpools. In this model, liquidity providers can use their capital more efficiently by concentrating it within a price range they choose; however, they stop earning fees when the price moves outside that range. Orca also operates on the Eclipse network and, according to DefiLlama, runs a token launch platform called Wavebreak. Orca pools also supply liquidity to other applications through swap routers on Solana.

The ORCA token grants voting rights in Orca DAO governance decisions and exists on Solana as an SPL token. On Lzzo.com, the ORCA price is calculated from the USDT pair on Binance and converted to US dollars using Coinbase Exchange's USDT/USD rate; the data is for information only.
