Grass is a decentralized data network where users share internet bandwidth they are not using through a browser extension or an app. The shared connections are used to collect data from publicly accessible web pages, and the resulting datasets are offered mainly for training artificial intelligence models. GRASS is a token issued on Solana that entered distribution in 2024.

Nodes that supply bandwidth to the network earn rewards according to their contribution. Components called routers manage the traffic between these nodes and the parties requesting data; GRASS holders can stake their tokens to routers to contribute to the reliability of the network and receive rewards. The token is also designed for use in network governance and in payments for data services. The company behind the project is Wynd Network.
