What is ADI?
ADI is a token issued on Ethereum and associated with the ADI Chain ecosystem developed by Abu Dhabi-based ADI Foundation. ADI Chain is described as an Ethereum layer-two network that aims to help governments, public institutions and companies adopt blockchain infrastructure. The project highlights use cases that require regulatory compliance, such as payments, e-invoicing, land title registries and stablecoins.
The network is built on ZKsync technology: transactions are executed off-chain, verified with zero-knowledge validity proofs and finalized on Ethereum. The architecture has a modular structure that allows countries or institutions to build their own application networks on ADI Chain in line with regional rules. Details of the ADI token's fee, staking or governance role within the network are not clearly set out in the official documents we reviewed, so they are not stated in this text.
In institution-focused projects of this kind, the token price is typically sensitive to whether announced partnerships turn into actual use, to token distribution and unlocks, to competition among layer-two networks and to regional regulation. Lzzo.com shows the DefiLlama-sourced US dollar reference price for ADI and a chart built from the history of that data.
