Pamel Renewable Electricity

Pamel Yenilenebilir Elektrik Uretim A.S. is a power generation company founded in 2007 to operate in the renewable energy sector. Headquartered in Sariyer, Istanbul, the company's main shareholder is Pamukova Elektrik Uretim A.S.; its shares trade on Borsa Istanbul under the ticker PAMEL.

Since 2012, the company has generated electricity at its hydroelectric power plant in the Celikhan district of Adiyaman. Its subsidiary Sun Yenilenebilir Enerji Uretim, set up in 2021, acquired Ortakoy Enerji and Sisli Enerji in 2022; these companies own solar power plants in the Bala district of Ankara. As a result, Pamel's generation portfolio includes both hydro and solar sources. The company states that it holds information meetings with local residents in its plant areas and takes care to protect cultural heritage.
