NiSource Inc. is a US natural gas and electricity company headquartered in Merrillville, Indiana. Its shares trade on the NYSE under the ticker NI and are included in S&P's broad-based US stock index. The company is a regulated utility holding, and its income comes from operating networks and from the investments made in them.
