What is Linde plc (LIN)?
Linde plc is an industrial gas and engineering company incorporated in Ireland and managed from the Surrey area of the United Kingdom. Its roots go back to the German Linde AG, founded in 1879, and the current structure was formed in 2018 through the merger of Linde and Praxair. Its shares trade on Nasdaq under the ticker LIN. The company is included in the S&P 500 and in the Nasdaq-100.
The core activity is the production and distribution of industrial and medical gases such as oxygen, nitrogen, argon and hydrogen.
