What is Fifth Third Bancorp (FITB)?
Fifth Third Bancorp is a bank holding company headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, with roots going back to 1858. In February 2026 it merged with Comerica Incorporated, and in the summer of 2026 it moved its shares from Nasdaq to the NYSE, keeping the FITB ticker. The company is a component of the S&P 500.
The bank serves clients in retail banking, commercial banking and wealth management. For individuals it offers deposits, credit cards, mortgages and auto loans. For businesses it provides loans, cash management, payment solutions and capital markets services. Its branch network is concentrated in the Midwest and the southeastern United States, and the Comerica merger also widened its presence in Texas and California.
The results of regional banks are read together with interest rate changes, credit demand and credit quality; progress on integration after the merger is also among the subjects followed. On the FITB page at Lzzo.com, the share price is shown in US dollars, the currency it trades in, alongside a historical price chart and technical indicators.
