BYD Company Limited is a China-based automotive, battery and electronics company. Its H shares trade on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under the code 1211, while the company's A shares are listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

Most of its income comes from the new energy vehicle business, made up of fully electric cars and plug-in hybrid cars.
