What is Mercedes-Benz Group AG (MBG.DE)?
Mercedes-Benz Group AG is a German automotive company that makes passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. After its truck and bus operations were turned into a separate company called Daimler Truck, the group changed its former name, Daimler AG, to Mercedes-Benz Group. Its shares trade via Xetra in Frankfurt under the ticker MBG.
Its operations are grouped into three main areas: Mercedes-Benz Cars covers passenger cars, Mercedes-AMG performance models and upper-segment brands such as Mercedes-Maybach; Mercedes-Benz Vans produces the light commercial vehicle and van family; and Mercedes-Benz Mobility provides financing, leasing and fleet services for dealers and customers. The group is also investing in electric vehicle platforms, in-car software and driver-assistance systems.
For automotive investors, luxury segment demand in China, tariffs between the US and Europe, the effect of the shift to electric models on profitability and carbon emission regulation are closely watched themes for this stock. The Mercedes-Benz page on Lzzo.com shows the price on a US dollar basis and allows conversion into Turkish lira, euros or pounds sterling; a historical chart, technical indicators, the data source and the time of the last update can also be seen.
