Anatolia Tani ve Biyoteknoloji Urunleri Arastirma Gelistirme Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. is a biotechnology company developing molecular diagnostic products under the Anatolia Geneworks brand. It was founded in Istanbul in 2010 by partners with experience in molecular genetics, healthcare, mechanical engineering and marketing; its head office is in Sultanbeyli. Its main area of expertise is the design, development and production of quantitative PCR (qPCR) kits, nucleic acid isolation kits, rapid antigen tests and automated nucleic acid isolation devices. Bosphore-branded kits are used in microbiology applications such as sexually transmitted infections, sepsis and antibiotic resistance, and gastroenteritis panels, as well as in genetic detection and food testing. On the instrument side, there are the UNIO family of automated isolation and PCR setup systems and its own-brand qPCR instruments, allowing it to offer laboratories an end-to-end system. Activities are carried out in line with medical device quality standards and European in vitro diagnostic regulation.
