Product information

What is Indian Rupee / Turkish Lira (INR/TRY)?

INR/TRY shows the Turkish lira value of India's currency, the rupee. The rupee is managed by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Because the rupee has a low unit value, changes in the rate often appear in the decimal places.

India imports a significant share of its crude oil needs, so rises in energy prices can put pressure on the rupee. On the other hand, exports of information technology and business services and remittances from Indians working abroad support foreign currency inflows. The RBI is known as a central bank that may intervene in the currency market to limit excessive volatility; inflows and outflows of foreign portfolio investment also affect the rupee's path.

The INR/TRY rate is formed by the combination of the rupee's moves against the dollar and the Turkish lira's general trend. The INR/TRY value on Lzzo.com is a cross reference rate calculated from market exchange rates; it is not a bank or exchange office buy/sell price.
