What is Tellor Tributes (TRB)?
Tellor is an oracle protocol that seeks to supply prices and similar off-chain data needed by smart contracts in a decentralized way. In the system, data reporters lock a certain amount of TRB as collateral and submit the requested data to the chain. Anyone who believes a submitted value is wrong can pay a fee to open a dispute; if the dispute vote finds the reporter at fault, the reporter's collateral can be slashed.
TRB, also known as Tellor Tributes, is issued on Ethereum and also has contract addresses on networks such as Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism and Gnosis. The token is used for reporter collateral, for rewards (tips) paid on data requests and for voting in dispute processes. The project has also announced that it is working on a separate chain infrastructure called Tellor Layer to carry oracle data to different networks.
The Tellor price on Lzzo.com is calculated by converting Binance TRB/USDT trades to US dollars using the Coinbase Exchange USDT/USD rate; the value shown is for information only.
