Securitize Tokenized AAA CLO Fund

STAC represents the tokenized shares of Securitize Tokenized AAA CLO Fund, which Securitize set up in partnership with BNY. The fund is designed to invest in collateralized loan obligations (CLOs) rated AAA, the grade at the head of the credit rating scale. CLOs are structured credit products that pool many corporate loans and divide them into tranches with different levels of risk; the AAA tranche is the senior layer that absorbs losses last and usually carries a floating rate.

BNY is the custodian of the fund's underlying assets, and portfolio sub-advisory services are provided by BNY Investments. The shares are issued as digital tokens on Ethereum and offered only to eligible investors through Securitize's identity verification, anti-money-laundering and investor qualification infrastructure. Tokenization makes fractional ownership and transparent bookkeeping possible, but it does not remove the underlying credit risk.
