What is Pump.fun (PUMP)?
Pump.fun is a launchpad platform that went into operation on Solana in January 2024 and lets users create a new token quickly without technical knowledge. Each token created on the platform first trades on a bonding curve; when demand reaches a certain level, liquidity moves to a decentralized exchange and the token continues trading on the open market.
The platform played a decisive role in speeding up meme coin creation, which made it the subject of both widespread use and controversy; a large share of the tokens created are short-lived. Pump.fun also operates its own decentralized exchange, called PumpSwap, for the liquidity of graduated tokens.
The PUMP token launched through a token sale held in July 2025 and exists on Solana as an SPL token. The team has announced that part of the platform's income is used for PUMP buybacks. The PUMP price on Lzzo.com is based on the USDT pair on Binance, converted to US dollars using Coinbase Exchange's USDT/USD rate and is for information only.
