What is HTX DAO (HTX)?
HTX DAO is a decentralized autonomous organization set up in connection with the ecosystem of the HTX cryptocurrency exchange, formerly known as Huobi. HTX is the governance token of this DAO; its main contract is on the TRON network, and it also has contract addresses on Ethereum and BNB Chain. The token is designed to be governed under a DAO structure separate from the exchange.
HTX holders can vote on proposals submitted to the DAO and delegate their voting rights to addresses of their choice. Regular token burns stand out in the project's supply policy: HTX DAO buys back HTX from the market and burns it on a quarterly basis. Because the token's total supply is very large, its unit price is expressed in very small decimal values, which makes it important to assess price changes in percentage terms.
The HTX price may depend on factors such as the trading volume and reputation of the HTX exchange, burn amounts, developments related to the TRON ecosystem and regulatory approaches to exchange-linked tokens. On Lzzo.com, the HTX DAO page shows DefiLlama's US dollar reference price; the chart is also drawn from this source's historical data.
