What is Enjin Coin (ENJ)?
Enjin is an ecosystem that offers tools for game developers and brands to issue in-game items or collectibles as NFTs. ENJ was originally issued as a token on Ethereum. The project later built its own infrastructure, the Enjin Blockchain, using Substrate technology; ENJ is used as the native asset in this structure, while the version on Ethereum has remained in circulation.
The Enjin Blockchain consists of two parts: the Enjin Relaychain, which provides security, and the Enjin Matrixchain, where NFT transactions take place. ENJ is staked on the Relaychain under a nominated proof-of-stake (NPoS) model and is used for transaction fees on the Matrixchain. In Enjin's NFT model, ENJ can be embedded in issued assets as collateral; when an NFT is melted, the ENJ inside returns to its owner. The ecosystem includes products such as Enjin Wallet and the developer-focused Enjin Platform.
Factors that may affect the ENJ price include interest in blockchain games and NFTs, project and transaction activity on the Enjin Blockchain, the migration process between the token versions on two different chains, and rival gaming-focused networks. The Enjin Coin price on Lzzo.com comes from ENJ/USDT trading on Binance and is converted into dollars at the Coinbase Exchange rate, and the chart shows this dollar-based series.
