Aethir

Aethir is a decentralized physical infrastructure (DePIN) project offering a distributed GPU cloud for workloads that demand intensive graphics processing unit (GPU) power, such as AI model training and inference and cloud gaming. The network aggregates GPU capacity from data centers and hardware owners in different locations and rents it out to enterprise customers. ATH is Aethir's token and is available on networks such as Ethereum, Arbitrum and Solana.

In this system, the parties that supply GPU resources are called Cloud Hosts. A separate node layer called Checker Nodes monitors the performance and availability of the service provided, verifying that the rented capacity is actually delivered. ATH is used to pay for compute services, for rewards to resource providers and checker nodes, and in staking mechanisms.
