Symrise AG is a fragrance, flavor and cosmetic ingredients company headquartered in Holzminden, Germany. The company was formed in 2003 through the merger of Haarmann & Reimer and Dragoco and went public in 2006. Its shares trade on the Xetra platform in Frankfurt under the ticker SY1, and the company is a member of the DAX 40 index. Its customers are brands that make consumer products.

Operations run in two divisions. The Scent & Care division makes fragrance ingredients and fragrance compositions for perfume, cosmetics, personal care and cleaning products, along with cosmetic ingredients and mint flavors. The Taste, Nutrition & Health division supplies flavors, natural aromas, functional ingredients and nutritional content to food, beverage and pet food makers.
