The company builds and sells single-family, attached and condominium homes under the Ryan Homes, NVHomes and Heartland Homes brands, mainly in the mid-Atlantic, Midwest and southeastern regions of the United States. For land, it mostly uses contracts that give it the right to buy finished lots under set conditions rather than buying land outright, which aims to limit the balance sheet burden from swings in land prices. Its NVR Mortgage subsidiary arranges home loans for buyers.
