What is AXA SA (CS.PA)?
AXA SA is a French insurance company headquartered in Paris. Its shares trade on Euronext Paris under the ticker CS and it is included in the CAC 40, the main index of the Paris exchange.
AXA works mainly in two areas. The property and casualty segment covers auto and home insurance for individuals and commercial insurance for businesses; work in large commercial risks and reinsurance is carried out under the AXA XL brand. The life and health segment offers savings products, protection policies and health insurance. In 2025 the company sold its investment management subsidiary AXA Investment Managers to BNP Paribas and centered its activities on insurance. Services are offered in many countries across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.
