What is Kite?
Kite is a payment infrastructure designed so that artificial intelligence agents can make payments autonomously and transact with one another. According to the official site, the system consists of three layers: an interface layer where agent workflows run; Kite Passport, where the user predefines a budget, spending limit and scope for an agent, which verifies each transaction before payment and allows access to be revoked immediately; and Kite Chain, an EVM-compatible, proof-of-stake layer-one network offering direct settlement in stablecoins. The project's mainnet has been opened for use.
According to the documentation, KITE's functions come into effect in two phases. In the first phase, AI service modules that have their own tokens lock KITE into permanent liquidity pools to activate their modules, developers who want to integrate with the ecosystem hold KITE, and incentives are distributed to contributors. In the second phase, which arrives with mainnet, commissions taken from AI service transactions can be converted into KITE; the token can be staked to take part in network security, and protocol upgrades and incentive structures are put to a vote.
According to CoinGecko data, KITE also has contracts on networks such as Ethereum, BNB Chain, Avalanche and HyperEVM. The token's course may depend on how widely agent-based payments actually spread, transaction volume on the network and token unlocks. On the Kite page of Lzzo.com, the price is taken from the KITE/USDT pair on Binance and converted into dollars at Coinbase Exchange's USDT/USD rate; the chart follows this dollar series.
